Southgate’s tactics have been pretty poor for this game. As with Belgium, we have good players available to us but they are wasted with poor management.

Don't know if it's just me, but I get the feeling that Reece James does not like Bowen.
Has chosen not to pass to him a few times and when he does give him a hospital ball he's in his ear criticising him.

Southgate has a lot of qualities as a manager but he’s too negative. He has no idea how to play Rice and England often seem to have very little shape under him.

Rice seems the only one who hasn’t just been told ‘run where you like’. I’ve seen Kane in midfield, Maguire on the left wing, ‘Trent’ everywhere except the position he’s supposed to be playing. No wonder they keep getting in down our right.
